Hotwire Hotel Discovery

This tool helps you identify which hotels are available on Hotwire for each city and zone.

How to use:

1.	Start by making a search on iBidlow as if you were on Hotwire. We will take this request and automatically open it on a new Hotwire window as well as the iBidlow search tool.

Once the results appear on iBidlow and on Hotwire, you can locate the Hotwire hotels on the iBidlow list, as shown on the image below. While Hotwire would describe the hotel zone, star level and amenities, iBidlow would provide these along with the hotel name. This would allow you to know which hotel you are likely to get, and learn how much it costs on the hotel website and on different online retailers

Tip: Notice that if you point at an amenity its name is revealed. You can also use the amenity guide to make sure the two drawings are in fact the same.

3.	You can use the top menu on both websites to order the results, or the left bar menu to refine them.

Once finished researching you are all ready to book on Hotwire.com by choosing the desired hotel, and proceeding to complete the booking in a method similar to other travel sites. Is My Hotel On Hotwire ?

This tool helps identifying if a specific hotel may be available at Hotwire. When would this application be useful? If you wish to join a friend who is staying in a specific hotel, or if you saw a great deal on a retail website but wish to give Hotwire a chance to beat that deal.

How to use:

1.	Enter the desired hotel name, city/area and travel dates and click: Is my Hotel On?

If the hotel is 'On' the Hotwire database, we would describe it in the way we believe it is described on Hotwire. We list the hotel star level, area and list of amenities. We then link you to Hotwire, to check availability and pricing of this hotel, as well as the hotel website and the 'best market price' which is a partner price comparison website

3.	If the hotel is not on our database, you can clear your search and try again, or visit the 'best market price' link to get the best possible retail deal for this hotel.

4.

Once finished researching you are all ready to book on Hotwire.com by choosing the desired hotel, and proceeding to complete the booking in a method similar to other travel sites. iBidlow on Priceline

This tool helps to discover possible Priceline hotels and the right bidding range for a specific request, which makes it first of its kind online and a true helper for Priceline bidders.

How to use:

1.	Start with choosing the city/area and travel dates. Once chosen, the available bidding zones and star levels instantly appear.

2.	Choose your desired bidding zones (these are sub areas in the city/area originally selected) and click the 'Generate Bid!' link

Tip: You can choose more than one zone.

3.	A price range is now generated for you bid and you could click it to go to Priceline and bid for your hotel, but before doing that you may consider reviewing the list of possible hotels you may receive if your bid is accepted.

4.	You could visit the hotel website or visit our comparison partner website to see how much these rooms cost on retail travel websites. The price quote is live and is generated for your dates, so it is also a good indication for the possible savings you may make.

Tip: If it appears that you would not like to stay in one of the possible hotels in the list, you should consider opting out its bidding zone in your purchase. You can refine your search on the menu on the left side, excluding the relevant hotel zone from your search and generate a new price suggestion.

5.	Once your research is done, the time to bid has come. Use the 'Bid this price on Priceline' link or click on the hotel name to go directly to your city and dates of selection, and try a price within the suggested range.

Tip: The range is calculated in a way that the lower end has low chances being accepted by Priceline, and the highest one are more likely to be accepted.

Once finished researching you are all ready to book on Priceline.com by choosing the desired zone and budget, and proceeding to complete the bid. Your Budget's worth @ Priceline

This tool helps identifying which levels of hotels you can afford in each zone for a set budget, but can also be used to identify potential hotels and configure the right bidding range.

How to use:

1.	Start with choosing your city/area, travel dates, and specify the maximum amount you wish to spend per night.

Tip: The figure we use excludes taxes and other reservations fees, which usually add 7- 10% to the total cost.

2.	See which hotel level is offered in each bidding zone, and choose your desired one. By clicking the relevant bid price you would be directed to Priceline using you search input.

3.	You could also spend more time researching by reviewing the potential hotels (choose: hotel list) or by adjusting your budget according to the results.

Tip: When your budget is lower than the minimum quote for the zone, no hotel range or bid price would be offered.

4.	Once your research is done, the time to bid has come. Use the bid range link to go directly to your city and dates of selection on Priceline, and try a price within the suggested range.
