It is important to add here that you should file a claim within ninety days. Usually, Stonebridge Casualty Insurance Company takes about thirty days from the date of receipt of all the relevant documents for its processing.

How do you actually get the insurance?

At the time of making your bid on hotels, you are given the option of buying insurance. After you have chosen the zone and star rating of your hotel and made your bid, you can review that bid. At the bottom of that page, you’ll find checkbox. It’s not mandatory, but if you like to include insurance, you should click that box.

It is recommended to check your personal insurance too, as it may already be covering your trip. Remember that you won’t be able to include insurance in your hotel bid after you have made the final payment. 

What does Priceline insurance NOT cover?
