Priceline Travel Insurance

Will my current insurance policy or credit cards cover me on my trip?

Well, it depends on the kind of personal policy you have. Some companies provide that cover but many don’t. It is recommended to check with your insurance provider beforehand.

Keep all the above options in mind and act smart to choose astutely. One never knows insurance might make all the difference between the vacation of a lifetime and a terrible trip that continues to bother you for a long time.

Where can you get all the details of Priceline insurance?

All travel insurances have their respective inbuilt exclusions and conditions.  You’ll do well to carefully go though the policy to understand what all it covers. You can know complete details of insurance cover at-------

How do you actually get the insurance?

At the time of making your bid on hotels, you are given the option of buying insurance. After you have chosen the zone and star rating of your hotel and made your bid, you can review that bid. At the bottom of that page, you’ll find checkbox. It’s not mandatory, but if you like to include insurance, you should click that box.

It is recommended to check your personal insurance too, as it may already be covering your trip. Remember that you won’t be able to include insurance in your hotel bid after you have made the final payment.

What does Priceline insurance NOT cover?

For one, it doesn’t cover if you just don’t like the hotel. You can’t ask for a refund on that ground. However, if you don’t like the hotel, there are many other options. Please go through the earlier articles telling you how to seek approval of your cancellation

Moreover, the insurance cover doesn’t include change of plans. Any unforeseen circumstances, except for those already mentioned, that may prevent you from making use of your reservation, don’t suffice for getting reimbursement.

Bad weather: strictly speaking the insurance doesn’t cover bad weather as a reason for claiming refund. However, there have been many instances when consumers got full refund on that ground. Anyway, there is no harm in trying and keep hoping for the best!
